Regional Champions Emerge as Ten Women’s Division One League Winners Are Confirmed

After months of competitive action, the GFA has confirmed the ten victorious teams from the Women’s Division One Leagues across Ghana’s regions. These regional champions demonstrated skill, resilience, and consistency to top their respective zones, earning a place in the national playoff spotlight. Their success marks a key step toward elite women’s football and reflects the deepening strength of the sport across the country.

Oaks FC won the Greater Accra regional Division One League, while former Premier League side Essiam Socrates Ladies emerged winners from the Central Region.

PearlPia Ladies and Ashtown Ladies fought hard to make it to the Division One League championship after emerging winners of the Northern Region and Ashanti Region, respectively.

Ashtown Ladies and PearlPia Ladies were promoted to the 2025/2026 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League after finishing first and second in the Northern zone playoffs.

Oak FC beat Sissamba Ladies to win the Greater Accra Regional Women’s Division One League.
