Ghanaian Investors Encouraged to Tap into Lucrative Prospects of Petroleum Hub Project——–Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC), Dr. Tony Aubynn, has made a strong appeal to Ghanaian investors to take advantage of the vast opportunities presented by the ongoing Petroleum Hub project in the Jomoro Municipality of the Western Region.

In a media engagement, Dr. Aubynn highlighted the project’s potential to transform Ghana into a major player in the downstream petroleum sector and a strategic energy hub for West Africa.

He stressed that increased local investment is critical to unlocking the full economic benefits of the initiative.

“The incentives we’ve put in place are highly attractive and designed to ensure a seamless and rewarding experience for all investors, adding that, these should give local businesses the confidence to come on board in a big way.”

The PHDC has developed a package of investor-friendly policies and support systems aimed at enhancing returns, reducing entry barriers, and fostering public-private partnerships.

According to Dr. Aubynn, these efforts reflect the corporation’s commitment to ensuring that Ghanaians benefit directly from the multi-billion-dollar hub project.

Reaffirming his vision, Dr. Aubynn said the goal is to build a world-class petroleum and petrochemical hub that will become the anchor of Ghana’s energy sector, creating jobs, stimulating industrial growth, and increasing export revenues.

He further underscored the strategic importance of local investor involvement, stating, “It’s time for Ghanaian investors to take bold steps and lead. We must not only host the hub but we must own it, drive it, and benefit from it.”
