Ghana vs. Chad: Frustration Grows as Fans Struggle to Secure Match Tickets—-Ghanaian fans are struggling to get tickets for the game between the Black Stars against Chad in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The four-time African champions who are seeking to compete in their fifth Mundial will host the bottom-placed team in the qualifiers tonight at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Matchday five games.

Prior to the game, the Communications Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Charles Amofa confirmed that there would be no purchase of tickets online.

The decision means that fans will have to purchase printed tickets at the gates to be able to watch the game. However, it has now emerged that fans are now struggling to get tickets to watch the game tonight.

Ghana first used a fully electronic platform for ticket sales in 2022 when the Black Stars faced Nigeria in a World Cup playoff match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

However, the system has not improved over the years, with repeated cases of the failure of the system to verify tickets purchased from the electronic platform, and internet connectivity, among others.

Ticket Prices for Ghana vs. Chad at Accra Sports Stadium:

  • VVIP    GHS200
  • VIP       GHS150
  • Lower VIP          GHS100
  • Osu Stand    GHS 20
  • Popular Stand     GHS 10

Ghana are scheduled to host Chad on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 7 PM at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Black Stars will take on Madagascar in their Matchday six games on Monday in Morocco.
